Dyed wool drying in Marrakech

In the souks of Marrakech, I stumbled upon a man who was dying wool which would be made into scarfs, bags, hats etc. He let me take his picture and then pointed me to the rooftop above us where all his freshly dyed wool hung drying. I was struck by the vivid red of the wool against the intense blue sky.

Urban Warriors

This was an interesting observation, to see a tribe that is associated with the natural world placed in such a built up urban environment, which highlights their adaptability and versatility.
