Foundations of Success

Shanghai has often been described as the “showpiece” of the world’s fastest-growing major economy and this has to be attributed to the hard work of the blue-collar workers, who were usually the “forgotten” group of people. In this photo, six construction workers were pushing steel piles used to create the foundations of the Shanghai Tower due to be completed in 4 years time.
