Lovely work Simon. How close can you get to a puffin without them flying off or attacking you? Showing my ignorance about birds here. I was attacked once by Fulmar Petrels when climbing the Old Man of Hoy so don’t know if the Puffins exhibit similar territorial tactics. Great shot.

Thanks for the message- Puffins are quite tame and although they keep a little distance you can really get quite close…. Apparently they prefer human beings staring at them than the gulls who attack them!
