Downhill Skidder

Each spring a pair of Canada Geese come to breed in our garden. They spend around 8 weeks with us each year, and the parents walk them round the garden, and swim them over the ponds like humans taking their kids to the park. They learn to fly, and eventually they leave us.

Yesterday, on 27th April, the 2010 brood was hatched. They came tumbling out, hardly able to stand, and spent a lot of the day sheltering under their Mum’s wing.

Today they are more stable on their feet, and are even tackling hills!

Rings ‘n’ Things

My favourite things – jewellery, candles and a camera to capture it all with. This macro was from a wedding I was second shooter at with the lovely Tim Hoy a few weeks ago.
